ANTRON BROWN JOINS TWITTER

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Nov. 5, 2009) – Want to know what Antron Brown is doing? Now you can. NHRA fans can now follow the Matco Tools flagship Top Fuel driver on Twitter at www.Twitter.com/AntronBrownTF. 

Brown, a 23-time NHRA winner, is the latest athlete to join the Twitter craze. 

“We’ve been doing Twitter updates all year long, but it was time that A.B. joined Twitter nation, so I got my own Twitter page,” Brown said. “Our fans are very loyal and I learned that very quickly on Facebook, so I want to keep our fans updated on what I have going on especially since the offseason is right around the corner. Ready, set, Tweet!”

Twitter is a privately funded startup with offices in the SoMA neighborhood of San Francisco, Calif. Started as a side project in March of 2006, Twitter has grown into a real-time short messaging service that works over multiple networks and devices. In countries all around the world, people follow the sources most relevant to them and access information via Twitter as it happens—from breaking world news to updates from friends.
